Kate and Tyler’s Wedding
Kate and Tyler’s wedding was a beautiful blend of sentiment, poignancy and fun. As a couple they laugh at themselves and were more than happy to share the backstory of how they met. They even had the bike that was at the centre of the story there for guests to look at … and read both versions of the events 😉
The stunning grounds of the Old Coach Stables in Gunning was their chosen venue. It’s perfect if you are after a rustic feel with the added bonus of various gardens to chose from meaning that your photos can have a different look and feel without the need to travel anywhere. Guests mingled in the shaded area before I moved them to the ceremony area when we knew Kate was only moments away.
Tyler entered the area first with his groomsman and accompanied by his father. There wasn’t a dry eye as he stopped at the chair with a “Reserved in loving memory of …” sign alongside a small bouquet of flowers. A reminder of how important his mum was in his life and that she was very much with us as we celebrated.

Kate and her wedding party entered next led in by their fur baby Otto. Their colour theme worked beautifully against the green of the garden and flowed through the dresses, ties and flowers adorning their arch.
There were many laughs as we looked back over their love story and all they’ve achieved in their time together. Again, I loved the fact they wanted to share the backstory of the proposal, laughing at themselves and the way everything unfolded.
Tyler and Kate’s personal vows were again the perfect blend of love and laughs, heartfelt promises for their future together.
Following the ceremony their photographer Blue Ginger Photographymoved the group to the front garden of the stables for some quick photos before guests headed back to enjoy outdoor games in the gardens and a double cocktail hour, ensuring the tone was set for a fabulous night of partying!
