That is just what Jess and Bayley did – and it was spectacular!

Jess and Bayley are committed to their health and wellbeing, they love life and enjoy it to the full. Their wonderful photographers Corinna and Dylan captured those qualities, planning locations to ensure their wedding photos reflected Jess and Bayley’s passions and interest. Jess and Bayley’s photos at the gym following their ceremony are perfectly them!!

As their marriage celebrant, when we began planning their wedding, it was clear that Jess and Bayley’s precious dog Frankie needed to be a part of the ceremony, he’s an important part of their family! Frankie’s participation in the marriage ceremony was kept a secret, with Kellee from Guest of Honour Pet Chaperones working with the team from The Hotel Realm to coordinate and time his entry, right on cue, bringing the rings to his mum and dad and delighting all their guests. There was also a special signing, after the wedding where Jess, Bayley and Frankie could take a few precious moments – just them – enjoying this special day.

At their rehearsal, we spoke about the two entrances, one for Bayley and his wedding crew and the other for Jess and her team. We spoke about setting the tone and possibly having fun with Bayley’s team skipping or doing lunges down the aisle. Bayley’s brother set the tone for the ceremony giving family and friends a laugh as he skipped down the aisle. Bayley and his Best Man took a more traditional approach ahead of Jess and her wedding party.

Jess and Bayley chose the High Courtyard at The Hotel Realm for their ceremony. It was a perfect size for their intimate wedding, room for all their guests to be seated and the benefits of an indoor space, so no need to worry about the weather. It is a beautiful light airy space which the team transformed into a beautiful ceremony space complete with white petals to help form the aisle. While Jess and Bayley were signing their legal documents a special guest helped by handing out petals for everyone to use at the end of the ceremony and so there were some magical shots as Jess and Bayley headed off and Mr and Mrs, petals cascading down around them.

While Jess and Bayley made the most of the precinct for their wedding photos, guest were able to relax before adjourning to the Ballroom for the reception – another benefit of having your ceremony and reception in the one location, minimal travel for your guests.

Jess and Bayley’s wedding day was memorable on so many levels, truly special because it was uniquely them. It was full of laughs, overhead lifts, dips, curls and love.
